THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	At the 200m COOL WINTER, which was not responding to Jockey R Fourie's urgings, had to be steadied when close to the heels of SIBERIAN FOX (M Yeni), which rolled out marginally. After the race, Jockey R Fourie reported that COOL WINTER took no interest in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	INDUS KNIGHT (S Khathi) raced wide without cover on the turn and into the straight.
c)	QUESTOR, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised. (HK)
