THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	ARAGOSTA (C Soumillion) lost 1 length.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	In a slow run race LORD WILLIAM (S Moodley) and SEA MASTER (A Mgudlwa) pulled hard in the early and middle stages.
b)	Shortly after entering the straight, approaching the 400m, ARAGOSTA (C Soumillion) was brushed by CRIMSON KING (K Matsunyane) which was brushed out by STREET ART (C Habib), which in turn received some pressure from SHANGO (G Lerena) which rolled out shortly after straightening. Shortly thereafter STREET ART (C Habib) was brushed by SHANGO (G Lerena) which was carried out by FLYING BULL (M Yeni), which had raced prominently, tired and rolled outwards.
c)	Leaving the 300m, JIMMY DON (*R A Venniker) was carried inwards by NEBRAAS (R Danielson) which rolled in.
d)	Jockeys C Zackey (UNION SQUARE) and R Fourie (ONE WAY TRAFFIC) reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
e)	Jockey G van Niekerk reported that WILLOW'S WISH did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
f)	CRIMSON KING (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable employee J Crawford acting on behalf of Trainer B Crawford advised (RvR).
