a)	A fair start.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	At the 1000m GREEN DREAM (D Daniels) which commenced to over-race had to steady momentarily to avoid running onto the heels of KITTEN'S ADVENTURE (C F Dicken) which rolled in. SHELL SEEKER (K de Melo) which commenced to over-race had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of GREEN DREAM (D Daniels). The Board after reviewing this incident was satisfied that KITTEN'S ADVENTURE (C F Dicken) was sufficiently clear of GREEN DREAM (D Daniels).
b)	Leaving the 200m BIRDWATCHER (S Khumalo) and ANGELIC FORT (R Fourie) come together and brushed on a number of occasions.
c)	At 100m DRIVE BY (C Maujean) which had come to the end of its run, had to steady when awkwardly placed between BIRDWATCHER (S Khumalo) which shifted in away from the crop and GREEN DREAM (D Daniels) which rolled out.
d)	ROCKINGTHETIMEAWAY (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Bronkhorst advised (DZ).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	SHELL SEEKER raced equipped with pacifiers on and compression mask off (advised 15.07.23/14h44).
