THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FORESHORE (S Veale) and MISS GIBSON (N Patel) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 1500m DEVILS AND DUST ( M Yeni) was bumped by GELSOMINA (A Mgudlwa) which shifted in away from GIVERS GRACE (K Matsunyane) which rolled in. b) At the 300m Jockey K Matsunyane's (GIVERS GRACE) crop became briefly entangled with his right side rein. c) At the 200m DEVILS AND DUST (M Yeni) was tightened and steadied between GELSOMINA (A Mgudlwa) which was carried in marginally by MISS GIBSON (N Patel) which rolled in, and GIVERS GRACE (K Matsunyane) which shifted out marginally away from the crop. d) FRENCH PRINCESS (C Zackey) was hanging out from the 200m. e) Jockey D Daniels reported that he felt something amiss with FORGED IN ICE in the running and did not persevere with his ride in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) FORESHORE (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D C Howells advised (HM).
