THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	MIGHTY MAC (D Ashby) was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	The Stewards reviewed the start with regards to MIGHTY MAC (D Ashby) in stall gate 2, were satisfied that 	this gelding had not been impeded and took no further action.
b)	YAMADORI (S Veale) raced wide on the turn until passing the 800m.
c)	FORT RED (G van Niekerk) was hanging in in the straight.
d)	At the 150m LOVERS LANE (K Steyn) had to be steadied when tightened for galloping room between the 	inside running rail and ALL ABOUT AL (A Domeyer), which was hanging in, shifted in and was immediately 	straightened.
e)	Approaching the 100m GALLIC DREAM (O Noach), which was hanging in in the straight, shifted in and had to 	be steadied and directed outwards away from the heels of LOVERS LANE (K Steyn).
f)	CAFE CULTURE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L Woodruff was 	advised. (WM)
