a)	TRADE WAR (*K J Lihaba) lost 1 length. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Shortly after the start ALLAROUNDTHEWORLD (GB) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed between MCCARTNEY (A Mgudlwa) and SEA VISTA (*B Plaatjies) which rolled in. 
b)	At approximately the 250m ALLAROUNDTHEWORLD (GB) (C F Dicken) and ROY'S JULY MAGIC (C Habib) were momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the heels of GIMME A RAINBOW (*T Mayhew) which hung in from the 300m. Apprentice T Mayhew appeared before the Board and was advised to take earlier corrective measures to keep his mount on a straight course in races in future.
c)	Jockey K Matsunyane reported that SAIPAN did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
d)	Apprentice B Plaatjies (SEA VISTA) completed a satisfactory ride.
e)	SEA VISTA (*B Plaatjies), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M L Roberts advised (DZ).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	SAIPAN raced equipped with pacifiers and without blinkers (advised 13.08.23/07h49).
