THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	FEATHER THE NEST (P Mxoli) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Jockey	K Matsunyane (SPLENDID SEASON) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m.  Thereafter, Jockey K Matsunyane reported that he felt something amiss with SPLENDID SEASON in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
b)	Jockey D Schwarz reported that BENGUELA COVE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. 	
c)	Jockey C Maujean reported that PRAYUPONASTAR made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 		
d)	Apprentice S Sosibo was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he, as the rider of ICE STAR, misused his crop by striking this filly more than twelve times (15) which was not warranted when considering the circumstances of the race. 
Apprentice S Sosibo signed an Admission of Guilt and a fine of R7500 was imposed.
e)	MISS SOHO (*D B Geerthsen), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
Trainer C Mayhew advised (MS).
	
JOCKEY CHANGES:
a)	SPLENDID SEASON: Jockey K Matsunyane weighed out at 52,5kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
