THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE BAYOU (*D Geerthsen) and MODE (W Kennedy) lost 1 length. b) FLYING VISION (S Veale) fly-jumped leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) From a deep draw, FLYING VISION (S Veale) raced wide in the early and middle stages. b) WINTER WAVES (S Moodley) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. Thereafter, this gelding shifted out away from the crop from the 250m. c) SONJADOR (*R Venniker) was hanging out from the 200m. Apprentice R Venniker appeared before the Board with Riding Master, Mr M Ball with regard to the above report and was advised to take earlier corrective measures when straightening her mounts in races going forward. d) Jockey A Arries reported that ROCKY COAST took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Trainer F Robinson reported post-race that ROCKY COAST was coughing. f) WINTER WAVES (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) FLYING VISION raced without blinkers (advised 04.02.22/9h53). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
