a)	KUDZU (G Lerena) and MR SPAIN (D De Gouveia) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	BIRTHRIGHT (K A Brewer) over-raced in the early and middle stages. 
b)	PUERTO PLATA (ARG) (N Klink) hung out on the first turn.
c)	Leaving the 1800m, EXHALE (R Danielson) was directed outwards away from the heels of IN A BLUE MOON (C Zackey).
d)	MR SPAIN (D De Gouveia) commenced to give ground to the field from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey D De Gouveia reported that this gelding did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
Trainer A Azzie was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of MR SPAIN on return to stables.
