THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CATCH YOUR BREATH (C Orffer) jumped slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. b) MONTREAL (G van Niekerk) jumped inwards and bumped DARK FUTURE (J Solomons) which in turn made contact with SEE YOU IN A BIT (D Schwarz). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ROYAL LYTHAM (G Wright) raced wide without cover on the turn and into the straight. b) Approaching the 200m HANGING ROCK (C Zackey) rolled out away from the crop and had to be straightened. c) GREAT CAT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
