a)	HUNTERS ARROW (C Maujean) lost 1 length.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Shortly after the start TIPOURI (*R A Venniker) which had been slow into stride, was brushed out by FEW DOLLARS MORE (C F Dicken) which rolled out.
b)	The saddle on MO KING slipped forward in the early stages resulting in Jockey S Moodley not being able to fully assist this gelding and him not persevering with his ride in the straight. The saddle slipping forward was confirmed by the video evidence. 
c)	FEW DOLLARS MORE (C F Dicken), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer J Buckler acting on behalf of Trainer G S Kotzen advised (NS).  When questioned regarding the improved performance of FEW DOLLARS MORE, the winner, compared to this colt's previous performance on the 19 August 2023, Assistant Trainer J Buckler could offer no suitable explanation for the improvement shown, other than the fitting of cheek pieces and that today's run was the first run for this colt on the polytrack. The Board noted this explanation.
