THE STARTER REPORTED: a) YOUNG LOVE (G van Niekerk) and PERFECT TRUST (R Fourie) were reluctant to load. b) GOLDEN DAH (G Cheyne) and YOUNG LOVE (G van Niekerk) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey L Mxothwa reported he felt something amiss with REGINA ISABELLA and he did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) REGINA ISABELLA (L Mxothwa) returned suffering from a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr J Batt) c) BYE BYE BOMBSHELL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised.
