a)	Approaching the 400m, in a tightly bunched field, GREAT CAT (L Mxothwa) and BONANZA (D Ashby) brushed on two occasions.
b)	Approaching the 50m WYLIE JACK (C Bantam) shifted in sharply and was immediately straightened.
c)	Jockey D Ashby reported that BONANZA did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	In view of the performance of BULLITT (R Fourie), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
