a)	SPEEDING BULLET (C Bantam) reared and fell over in the stalls, was examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn, causing a delay.
b)	BENJAMIN (G Wright) refused to load and was withdrawn, causing a further delay.
c)	PORQUE TE VAS (A Arries) was restless in the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	In view of the performance of PORQUE TE VAS (A Arries), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
b)	In view of the performance of PLAZA ACCORD (R Fourie), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
c)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding SPEEDING BULLET (C Bantam),this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable to load with a companion. (Suspension dates: 24/12/2023 to 30/12/2023 inclusive). SPEEDING BULLET may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
