THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	DANCE MO (Y Ramzan) was stubborn loading and jumped slow, losing one length.
b) 	MY TRUE LOVE (X Ndlovu) was nervous in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length.
c)	SPRING IN HER STEP (*KJ Lihaba) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Leaving the 1200m BYTHELITEOFTHEMOON (R Fourie), which pulled hard in the early stages, shifted out and made contact with DIAMOND ROCKSTAR (E Webber).
b)	RAIN BIRD (R Danielson) raced wide on the turn and into the straight.
c)	DIAMOND ROCKSTAR (E Webber) raced wide on the latter part of the turn.
d)	Jockey R Fourie reported that BYTHELITEOFTHEMOON made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	ROYAL SOJI (R Khathi) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr K Spargo)
f)	Trainer ML Turner was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that she failed to vaccinate ROADLESSTRAVELLED against Equine Influenza in accordance with the program of vaccinations as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. Trainer ML Turner signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1 000.00.
g)	AS FATE HAS IT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised. (LM)
