b)	JUAN LES PINS (C Orffer) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	PRESSONREGARDLESS (R Danielson) pulled hard in the early and middle stages.
b)	GIVETHATMANABELLS (B Fayd'Herbe) raced wide on the latter part of the bend and into the straight.
c)	In view of the performance of PETTEIA (G Wright), which pulled hard in the early stages and tired quickly from the 300m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	At the 250m SONG TO THE MOON (G van Niekerk) rolled in and then had to be directed outwards when close to the heels of FIRINGONALLENGINES (A Arries). Thereafter, SONG TO THE MOON (G van Niekerk) was momentarily held up when close to the heels of GIVETHATMANABELLS (B Fayd'Herbe) leaving the 100m.
