THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CLOUD CHASER (JP van der Merwe) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In a tightly bunched field shortly after the start BUSY LIZZIE (C Zackey), FAMILY POWER (G van Niekerk) and TYPEFACE (O Noach) made contact. b) DUAL AGENT (R Venniker) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. c) Approaching the 200m CATTALEYA (C Bantam) shifted out away from the crop and had to be straightened. d) M Mjoka (SUMMER FLING) dropped his crop at the 150m. e) Jockey S Cele appeared before the Board and was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts, at least hands and heels, to the finish. f) TWO A PENNY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
