THE STARTER REPORTED: a) OUT THE MIST (P Strydom) stumbled leaving the stalls. b) PALACE REVOLT (*K J Lihaba) and STORMY SEAS (*T Mayhew) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After showing pace and racing prominently throughout, OUT THE MIST (P Strydom) tired badly in the concluding stages. b) Jockey S Khumalo reported that GALLA VANTING made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) PALACE REVOLT (*K J Lihaba), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W H Marwing advised (LK). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
