THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	PANTEA (A Mgudlwa) refused to jump.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	PANTEA (A Mgudlwa) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls and refused to gallop. A race review was called by a Stipendiary Steward into the start of this race pertaining to PANTEA (A Mgudlwa), in stall gate 3. In this regard, the Steward was satisfied that this mare was not impeded by the starting stall gates or by a handler and any ground lost to the field was due to the horse's own behaviour. Therefore, no further action was taken, and PANTEA was declared a runner. 
b)	 In view of the Starter's report with regard to PANTEA (A Mgudlwa), this mare's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion.  Suspension dates: 07.03.24 to the 13.03.24. PANTEA may not be presented for re-passing during this period.  Trainer D W Moore was advised. (SL)
c)	FAMILY FAVOURITE (R A Venniker) stumbled leaving the starting stalls.
d)	POPPY OF BAYEUX (S Veale) was restless, and fly jumped leaving the starting stalls. In view of the performance of POPPY OF BAYEUX (S Veale) (9.00 lengths and 4/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e)	Apprentice K J Lihaba reported that GRECIAN PALACE took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
