THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) EXQUISITE DAWN (*K J Lihaba) took an awkward stride at approximately 1200m. b) Jockey P Strydom reported that he felt something amiss with SILKY JET in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey J Gates reported that he felt something amiss with SCARLET in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) CEUTA (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
