THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BUNTING (S Moodley) and LUCRETIUS (C F Dicken) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) FUTURE OF ENERGY (T Godden) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) FIREFLARE (C Zackey) raced wide on the latter part of the turn and into the straight. c) At the 50m FINE ADMIRAL (R Fourie) was eased when awkwardly placed between LUCRETIUS (C F Dicken), which was carried out marginally by SAN MARZANO (*S Hlengwa) which rolled out, and TIN CUP (C Habib) which was hanging out from the 350m, was corrected and rolled in. d) In view of the performances of MOON HARVEST (R A Venniker) (17.70 lengths, 33/1 in the betting), FLAG BEARER (C Maujean) (9.10 lengths, 20/1 in the betting) and BUNTING (S Moodley) (11.80 lengths, 50/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) TOM'S ACT (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
