THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TIME FOR CHARITY (*K J Lihaba) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 150m TIME FOR CHARITY (*K J Lihaba) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed between BIRDWATCHER (S Khumalo) and KITTEN'S ADVENTURE (C F Dicken) which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately corrected. b) Jockey R Fourie reported that PUFF OF SMOKE choked up in the running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride from the 200m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) CHELSEA FLOWER (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Hewitson advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) BIRDWATCHER raced without a tongue tie (advised 30.04.2024/14h27).
