a)	Leaving the 400m ALL ABOUT AL (G Wright) was steadied briefly when close to the heels of FORT RED (M Mjoka) and thereafter had difficulty obtaining clear running until the 100m.
b)	At the 250m Jockey K Steyn (DAS GUTE) hesitated with his riding when close to the heels of SUN DAZED (M Winnaar), which was carried out by BEERENBERG (G van Niekerk).
c)	PARATROOPER (A Arries) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr E Reynders)
