b)	ROYAL WATCH (A Andrews) and CHOLLIMA (R Khathi) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	SCALINI (A Arries) raced wide on the early part of the turn.
b)	At the 50m INNAMORARE (R Fourie), which had shifted out away from the crop and was straightened and SOLOMONS SEAL (S Veale), which was hanging in, raced in close proximity. As a result, Jockey S Veale (SOLOMONS SEAL) had limited use of his crop when drawn in his left hand and close to the body of Jockey R Fourie (INNAMORARE).
c)	At the 50m SCALINI (A Arries), which had come to the end of its run, was steadied when awkwardly placed between DAS GUTE (K Steyn) and SOLAR POWER (K Matsunyane) when both horses shifted ground marginally.
d)	In view of the performances of ROYAL WATCH (A Andrews) and MY GOLLY MOLLY (A Domeyer), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings.
e)	INNAMORARE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (TJ)
