b)	At the 300m Jockey G Wright (FORT RED) hesitated with his riding in anticipation of the available run between NIGHT TIGER (A Domeyer) and DANCINGTOTHELIGHT (G van Niekerk) closing.
c)	KING OF SPIN (K Matsunyane) was hanging out in the latter stages.
d)	ESCARPMENT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PAW Botha was advised. (SC)
