THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GAL GADOT (J Gates) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, RED CARPET GIRL (G Lerena) and TIME IS TICKING (Wes Marwing) were squeezed out when awkwardly placed between LADY ELLIOT (R Danielson) and CAN'T CATCH ME (C Habib), which rolled in. b) At approximately the 200m, RED CARPET GIRL (G Lerena) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of LADY ELLIOT (R Danielson), which hung in from the 300m. c) Jockey G Lerena reported that RED CARPET GIRL did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) BOOM BOOM (C Maujean), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Bronkhorst advised (LK). Trainer F Bronkhorst is to be questioned regarding this filly's improved performance.
