THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NEITHERHERENORTHER (S Khumalo) jumped out leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) WINTER WAVES (R A Venniker) was continually baulked for a clear run between the 500m and the 100m. Thereafter this gelding was switched to the inside of LICENCE TO THRILL (T Godden) to obtain a clear run. b) HAPPY WANDERER (*D Pillay) was hanging in from the 400m. c) Apprentice D Pillay (HAPPY WANDERER) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. d) ALL THE TIME (C Maujean), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
