THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COLORADO CREEK (K A Brewer), PERILLA (C Habib), EPIC VIEW (M Thackeray) and FLIGHT MANEUVER (D Daniels) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SPARKLING JUBILEE (D De Gouveia) over-raced in the early stages. b) Leaving the 400m VERMACILLI (*J Botes) was inconvenienced when close to the heels of GARDENIA (S Khumalo) which had come to the end of its run. Thereafter VERMACILLI (*J Botes) was switched in to continue its run. c) Jockey S Khumalo reported that GARDENIA did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey D De Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss in the running with SPARKLING JUBILEE. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey D Daniels reported that FLIGHT MANEUVER took no interest in the running.
