a)	Shortly after the start GIRL LIKE US (D Ashby), MISS MARGUERITE (JP van der Merwe) and WINTER RAINFALL (S Veale) were inconvenienced when carried outwards by GIRL LIKE US (D Ashby), which jumped outwards.
b)	JAPANESE ROSE (L Mxothwa) proved difficult to settle in the early stages.
c)	AT the 250m, a tiring JAPANESE ROSE (L Mxothwa) rolled out away from KYALAMI GIRL (A Andrews) and made contact with LADY LOOK ALIKE (G van Niekerk).
d)	Approaching the 200m GIRL LIKE US (D Ashby) was held up and had to be directed inwards to obtain a clear run.
e)	Approaching the 100m LADY LOOK ALIKE (G van Niekerk) rolled in and had to be steadied when close to the heels of KYALAMI GIRL (A Andrews).
