EN ROUTE TO THE START, RED BOMBER (J R SYSTER) LIFTED ITS LEFT FRONT SHOE WHICH WAS ATTENDED TO BY THE COURSE FARRIER. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ANFIELDS ROCKET (M Yeni) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey M K Katjedi (MIST IN SCOTLAND) made an adjustment to the footing of his left-side stirrup iron at the 800m. b) In view of the performance of ANFIELDS ROCKET (M Yeni), (distance 6,45 lengths, betting 18/10), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) In view of the performance of MOVER AND SHAKER (R Danielson), (distance 10,75 lengths, betting 20/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) DYCE (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Houdalakis advised (MS).
