THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) AXEL COLLINS (C Maujean) hung in in the concluding stages. b) In the concluding stages, SEA SHANTY (*N Nastili) was steadied when racing into restricted galloping room between the inside running rail and JOHNNY APPLESEED (C Habib), which hung in from the 250m. c) KARATE KID (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P F Matchett advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) BREGARDT was ridden by Jockey R Danielson (declared 23 September 2024 at 12H28).
