THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PAS DE NOM (C Zackey) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After being slow to begin, PAS DE NOM (C Zackey) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. b) Leaving the 400m TYRION LANNISTER (C Orffer) was unable to secure clear running between ROYAL INVITATION (O Noach) and NEVADA KING (C Bantam) and was directed outwards. Thereafter, Jockey C Orffer was unable to ride TYRION LANNISTER to the finish when tightened for galloping room between NEVADA KING (C Bantam) and FUTURE TURN (JP van der Merwe) shortly before the finish. c) FIBONACCI (S Veale) was continually held up for a clear run until leaving the 200m. d) BLUE BAY (G Wright) was hanging in from the 200m. e) INFRARED, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B Crawford was advised.
