THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BLUSH OF DAWN (*D Pillay) jumped out awkwardly and lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start EDGE OF TOMORROW (M Yeni) and ROY TAKING OFF (*J Botes) came together and brushed which resulted in Jockey M Yeni becoming momentarily unbalanced. b) Leaving the 150m SWISS PARADISE (M Thackeray) was carried in marginally by PURPLE FLOWER (A Mgudlwa) which was hanging in from the 250m. c) Apprentice J Botes reported that ROY TAKING OFF took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performance of EDGE OF TOMORROW (M Yeni) (6.70 lengths, 8/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) SPIRITED FLIGHT (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
