THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MR FOX (R Fourie) and WHAT AGAIN (S Veale) bumped leaving the stalls. b) KAISARISSA (K Steyn) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TUNGUSKA (O Noach) proved difficult to settle in the early stages b) WHAT AGAIN (S Veale) raced green. c) Jockey R Fourie (MR FOX) briefly dropped his right-side rein at the 200m. d) Jockey G Wright reported that SOUTHERN EXPRESS did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) WATER DRAGON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer VH Marshall was advised.
