HIS LORDSHIP BOLTED EN ROUTE TO THE START, RAN INTO THE FALSE RAIL AT THE 600M AND DISLODGED APPRENTICE H MOOSUN. APPRENTICE H MOOSUN WAS ATTENDED TO BY THE COURSE PARAMEDICS AND TRANSPORTED TO THE JOCKEY ROOM. HIS LORDSHIP WAS TAKEN IN HAND, EXAMINED BY THE COURSE VETERINARY SURGEON AND SUBSEQUENTLY SCRATCHED. THIS INCIDENT CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GOOD TO GREAT (*S Bungane) and LITTLE MIZ SWAGGER (*M Mbuto) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) CAPTAIN EFFICIENT (*K J Lihaba) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) PRIZED PLATINUM (*V Jodhee) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 300m, COMMANDER OF ALL (*N Nastili) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the outside of COMING IN HOT (*B Marx-Jacobson), and on the inside of ALONE TIME (*T Mayhew) which shifted in away from the crop and was corrected. b) Apprentice S Bungane, the rider of GOOD TO GREAT, rode a satisfactory qualifying ride. c) Apprentice G Dookhit, the rider of WARM WINTER NITE, rode a satisfactory qualifying ride. d) Apprentice B Marx-Jacobson, the rider of COMING IN HOT, rode a satisfactory qualifying ride. e) COMING IN HOT (*B Marx-Jacobson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
