THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	LADY LOOK ALIKE (G Wright) was slow into stride
b)	MISS M threw its head up and then jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	The Stewards reviewed the start of this race with regards to MISS MARGUERITE (JP van der Merwe) in stall gate 6 and established that this mare had thrown its head up and then jumped awkwardly. The Stewards were satisfied that the filly had not been impeded and took no action.
b)	Approaching the 400m KYTHERA (C Orffer), which was initially carried out slightly by SAHARA CAT (S Veale), shifted out slightly and clipped the heels of PORQUE TE VAS (M Mjoka), which had shifted in. As a consequence, PORQUE TE VAS (M Mjoka) raced awkwardly for a number of strides and shifted in, which resulted in KYTHERA (C Orffer) having to be directed inwards.
c)	BE MERRY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Snaith signed on behalf of Trainer SJ Snaith. (SC)
