The start of this race was delayed due to the reasons stated in the Starters' report below. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HAPPY ANALIA (J Jacobs) was stubborn to load. Trainer M N Prinsloo was advised to re-school this filly (SL). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MILLION VOICES (T Godden) and HAPPY ANALIA (J Jacobs) came together and brushed on a number of occasions between the 950m and the 850m. b) At the 700m JANE'S VISION (R A Venniker) was brushed out by PRANKSTER (M V'Rensburg) which rolled out away from VISION TO ACHIEVE (S Veale). c) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss in the running with GLAMORZ. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performances of MILLION VOICES (T Godden) (11.85 lengths, 4/1 in the betting) and ROY'S T'S (S Hlengwa) (14.55 lengths, 100/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) JANE'S VISION (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
