THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ARAGOSTA (C Habib) and NEBRAAS (C Zackey) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FLYING BULL (S Moodley) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) Apprentice T Mayhew (RIVER ROMEO), under the impression that something was amiss with this gelding, raced wide in the latter part of the turn and did not persevere with his riding from the 500m. Thereafter, Apprentice T Mayhew reported that RIVER ROMEO did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) FLYING BULL (S Moodley) and ARUMUGAM (K A Brewer) tired rapidly from the 300m. d) NONE OTHER (D De Gouveia) and SCARLETT PIMPERNEL (C Maujean) commenced to give ground to the field from the 200m. e) POETS WARRIOR (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Azzie advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) RAISEAHALLELUJAH was ridden by Jockey T Godden (declared 2 November 2024 at 16H17). b) NONE OTHER was ridden by D De Gouveia (declared 2 November 2024 at 16H17).
