STAND UP (R DANIELSON) PROVED RELUCTANT PROCEEDING TO THE START AND HAD TO BE LED BY A HANDLER. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE.

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	BEYNAC (P Strydom) stumbled leaving the stalls.
b)	INCLUSION (P Mxoli) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
c)	CHABAL (G Lerena) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
d)	STAND UP (R Danielson) jumped awkwardly outwards leaving the stalls.
e)	PRAETORIAN (C Zackey) was slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	STAND UP (R Danielson) proved reluctant proceeding to the start and had to be led by a Handler. 
Trainer E Verdonese was advised that should this colt behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended.
b)	Shortly after the start, STAND UP (R Danielson) was squeezed out when awkwardly placed between THE MIGHTIEST (K A Brewer) and COUNT HUHTIKUU (K Matsunyane). 
c)	Jockey	G Lerena reported that CHABAL changed stride continually in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
d)	Jockey C Zackey reported that PRAETORIAN made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
e)	LETS PLAY POKER (J P van der Merwe), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Azzie advised (MduP).
