THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BELLA SWAN (W Kennedy) stood losing many lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to BELLA SWAN (W Kennedy), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 21.03.22 to the 27.03.22. BELLA SWAN may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer B Kennedy was advised. (SN) b) Shortly after the start, in a tightly bunched field, SEA EAGLE (*D Geerthsen) was cramped for galloping room. c) OWLETTE (*M Katjedi) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. d) Leaving the 200m, HOT STRIKE (G Wright) was switched to the inside of LUCKY MISS (A Marcus) to obtain a clear run. e) In view of the performance of OWLETTE (*M Katjedi) (11.70 lengths, 20/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) SEA EAGLE (*D B Geerthsen), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M D Miller advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) LUCKY MISS raced with a compression mask. b) PRINCESS ANASTASIA raced without cheek pieces (advised 19.03.22/20h41). c) BELLA SWAN raced without blinkers (advised 18.03.22/9h24). d) AERIAL VIEW Jockey S Moodley weighed out at 53kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight of 52.5kg.
