THE STARTER REPORTED: a) EDGE OF TOMORROW (K Matsunyane) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) As the start was effected COPACABANA (S Veale) was brushed out by SPIRITED FLIGHT (T Godden) which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. b) ON BOARD (S Moodley) hung in from the 300m and shifted in, in the concluding stages. c) Jockeys S Veale (COPACABANA) and M Thackeray (SWISS PARADISE) reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) ON BOARD (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
