Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) INDECENT PROPOSAL (*M Mbuto) over raced in the early stages. b) Approaching the 900m LOU LOU THE LEGEND (S Veale) and FOREST JUMP (N Nastili) were carried out by STRICTLY MAMBO (*B Plaatjies) which commenced to over race and was directed outwards to avoid the heels of VICTOR RAIL (A Mgudlwa). As a consequence, the saddle of STRICTLY MAMBO (*B Plaatjies) slipped sideways and this precluded Apprentice B Plaatjies from fully assisting this gelding until the end of the race. c) MAC HARDY (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer B Forster acting on behalf of Trainer W A Nel was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) EVENTIDOR raced equipped with blinkers and without cheek pieces. (Advised 04.02.25/09h14). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) MAC HARDY: Returned post-race having cast the right front shoe. b) INDECENT PROPOSAL: Returned post-race having cast the left front shoe.
