THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE, THE STARTING STALLS HAVING TO BE REPOSITIONED ON THE TRACK AS WELL AS ADJUSTMENTS HAVING TO BE MADE TO THE INSIDE RUNNING RAIL TO ACCOMMODATE THE FIFTEEN BERTH STARTING STALL BANK. 

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	EYE CATCHING (J Gates) was slow losing two lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	In view of the performance of ROYAL MAZARIN (C Maujean), (distance 8,90 lengths, betting 10/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.	
b)	In view of the performance of NUCLEAR FORCE (G Lerena), (distance 12,80 lengths, betting 25/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
