SCOTTISH BLUE was slow into stride. ATLANTIC SHORE was very restless in the stalls. SHANTYTOWN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Puller was questioned with regard to the improved performance of SHANTYTOWN compared to this gelding's previous performance on the 21 February 2018. Mr Puller explained that this gelding had over-raced over the 1600 metre race and had compounded. He further stated that in his opinion, SHANTYTOWN is better suited to shorter distances. The Board noted his explanation. THE REFORMATION was not persevered with in the latter stages. In view of the Starter's report concerning ATLANTIC SHORE, this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn until re-passed tractable with a companion. The Medical Officer reported that Jockey Marcus was examined after the running of this Race:- conjunctivitis and migraine. Unable to continue riding.
