PAVAROTTI PASSION refused to load and was withdrawn. WOLF KILLER lost one length. CUMBERBATCH lost two lengths. SAIL THE BAY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Badenhorst was questioned with regard to the improved performance of SAIL THE BAY compared to this gelding's previous performance on the 30 March 2018. Mr Badenhorst explained that the previous race was this gelding's first run for his stable and that he was drawn wide. Today, SAIL THE BAY, had a better draw, and this in his opinion, had accounted for the improvement shown. The Board noted his explanation. UNCLE RONNIE was hanging out throughout. In view of the Starter's Report concerning PAVAROTTI PASSION this gelding has been suspended. Scratched: LESLIES PATHTOFAME - not eating up. PAVAROTTI PASSION - refused to load.
