KHEELAN DYNASTY and REYMUNDO lost one length. GORDONSTOUN was restless in the stalls. THEY SAY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Campbell was questioned with regard to the improved performance of THEY SAY compared to this gelding's previous performance. He explained that in his opinion this gelding is better suited to racing on the poly track and he has undertaken to race THEY SAY on this surface when possible in future. The Board noted his explanation and the future performances of this gelding will be monitored. Shortly after the start THEY SAY shifted in resulting in TRUST IN GOLD being steadied and thereafter ALFIERI being eased for a number of strides. As a result of this, REYMUNDO was carried wide for a short distance. Jockey Dillon failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the horse ALFIERI and TRUST IN GOLD shortly after the start. He was suspended for a period of 7 days. KHEELAN DYNASTY over-raced in the early stages. Jockey Lerena the rider of VELVET REVOLVER reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in the closing stages and as a result, he did not persevere with his ride. Apprentice Bantam the rider of KHEELAN DYNASTY reported this gelding took no interest in the closing stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine VELVET REVOLVER and KHEELAN DYNASTY. CRUISE CRUZ raced in Club Colours. VELVET REVOLVER raced with a tongue tie. Vet: KHEELAN DYNASTY - coughing. VELVET REVOLVER - coughing and fatigued. Scratched: FORT EROS - elevated temperature.
