THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MY LADY (S Randolph) refused to jump. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to MY LADY (S Randolph), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 24.12.20 to the 30.12.20. MY LADY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer L Karriem acting on behalf of Trainer Gareth van Zyl was advised. (SN) b) SUPER FLUKE (D Dillon) raced wide in the early and middle stages. c) In the concluding stages, INGAKARA (N Patel) which was hanging in from the 200m, had to ease when awkwardly placed on the outside of SHASTINA (W Kennedy) which shifted out away from the crop marginally. d) TUPELO HONEY (S Moodley) was hanging out in the concluding stages. e) LEGEND HAS IT (*J Jacobs) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. f) Jockey M Yeni reported that TOMBOLA (7.45 lengths) took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) Assistant Trainer L Karriem acting on behalf of Trainer Gareth van Zyl signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 11.2.8, in that he presented MY LADY in the parade ring incorrectly equipped for this Race. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. h) WISHFUL GIRL LINN (L Hewitson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G B Puller advised (ML). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) MY LADY raced with a tongue tie (advised 22.12.20/15h39). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) TOMBOLA : Nothing obvious detected. b) WISHFUL GIRL LINN : Returned post race having cast the right fore shoe.
