THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TWICE THE FLIGHT (S Moodley) stood losing many lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to TWICE THE FLIGHT (S Moodley), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 20.09.21 to the 26.09.21. TWICE THE FLIGHT may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M Miller was advised. (SN) b) Jockey A Arries signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, read in conjunction with Guideline M, in that he misused his crop by striking the horse BANZAI PIPELINE more than 12 times in the entire race. In assessing penalty, the Board considered the number of times (17) Jockey A Arries struck the horse BANZAI PIPELINE, the distance over which and manner in which he used his crop, the fact that he won the race and his record (2) in relation to this Rule. Accordingly, a penalty of a fine of R2500 was imposed. c) BANZAI PIPELINE (A Arries), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee S Swanepoel acting on behalf of Trainer G B Puller advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) LOVE THE VIEW was ridden by Jockey T Godden and raced with a compression mask. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) VICTORY TWIST : Returned post-race having cast the right hind shoe. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS
