THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	JOLLIFICATION (M Yeni) caught its right hind leg in the stalls. Removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. 
b)	MYSTIC ANGEL (M V'Rensburg) fly-jumped leaving the stalls. Lost 1 length.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Leaving the 350m DRIVE BY (C Maujean) was carried out marginally by SHELL SEEKER (D Daniels) which rolled out. As a consequence of this MOUNTAINSOFTHEMOON (S Moodley) had to steady when awkwardly placed on the heels of a tiring ROSSLYNE (S Khumalo).
b)	At the 300m MYSTIC ANGEL (M V'Rensburg) which had come to the end of its run, had to steady when awkwardly placed between JOLLIFICATION (M Yeni) and a tiring ROSSLYNE (S Khumalo) which had come to the end of its run.
c)	Jockeys S Veale (PERFECT TRUST), M Thackeray (FORGED IN ICE) and S Khumalo (ROSSLYNE) reported that they felt something amiss in the running with their respective mounts. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
d)	In view of the performance of MYSTIC ANGEL (M V'Rensburg) (12.60 lengths, 4/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
e)	SHELL SEEKER (D Daniels), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Dixon   advised (DZ).
