Stipes Report

During the loading process JET LEGACY (A Mgudlwa) kicked the back gates which resulted in IMMAH (*B Plaatjies) breaking through the front gates. This gelding was restrained by the rider and returned to the start. JET LEGACY and IMMAH were examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race.  This caused a delay to the start of the race. 

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	TRAFALGAR SQUARE (C Habib) kicked the back gates. This gelding was removed from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. 
b)	IMMAH (*B Plaatjies) lost 2 lengths. 
 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	RUGGER LOVER (K Matsunyane) hung in from the 350m.
b)	Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with B FIFTY TWO in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
c)	Jockey R A Venniker reported that she felt something amiss with LOVE IN WINTER in the concluding stages and therefore did not persevere with her ride. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.  
d)	JET LEGACY (A Mgudlwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright advised (SP).
e)	WARRIOR OF ROYALTY (M Yeni), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer N Kotzen advised (NS).
